Meeting House Square, Dublin

Installation of four steel structured rainscreen umbrellas within Meeting House Square, a cultural area within the heart of Dublin city centre. The umbrellas extend to 21 metres in height when fully extended.

– Extensive archaeological excavation of a pre-historic Viking settlement, with excavations in excess of 5 metres below existing ground level – Sheet piling – Bored rock anchors – In-situ concrete pile caps – Use of flowable concrete backfill to excavations – Protection of exposed archaeological features – Granite paving – Stainless steel feature joints
